During September this year I had the joy of building a winter fairy set for a very special little girl. Her grandmother, my midwife from when I was pregnant with my daughter a couple years back, contacted me in the summer to discuss a fairy session for her granddaughter. She wanted it to be a surprise for her daughter for Christmas. I was over the moon to create this session for her and to give her granddaughter a magical experience. When they arrived, we talked about fairies, and her favorite movie, Frozen. We listened to Disney songs, and read a special poem that a fairy had left for her. At the end of the session we ate cupcakes, and she got to go home with her fairy wings, fairy crown, and fairy wand. It's always such a challenge for me to hold back from sharing images. I love what I do, but sometimes sessions are all about special surprises. That's always so much fun, and I love the anticipation that comes for the gift giver too, waiting to share the images with whomever they're gifting to, in this case a special gift for her daughter. Fairy sessions are always so magical and joyful to create. Little girls adore dressing up and using their imagination, and it's such a special, endearing time in childhood. So without further ado, here are the images from this very magical winter fairy session. I hope these images bring so much joy for this little girl and her mother, and grandmother for many, many years to come. If you have a special little girl in your life that you'd love to create a fairy session for, please feel free to contact me at jessicaallisonportrait@gmail.com or 208-794-3293. I would be honored to be a part of creating some magic and sparkle in your life and hers.
